Coach USA Travel Club

Suburban Transit offers a Monthly Saver Fare in addition to our 10-trip commuter ticket book. Please read the following guidelines for purchasing and using your monthly Saver Fare passes.

  1. Commuters who wish to take advantage of the low monthly Saver Fare must enroll in the Coach USA Travel Club. There is no cost associated with first time enrollment.
  2. The enrollment forms are available at the ticket windows at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, New Brunswick Park & Ride Lot and by mail from Suburban Transit at 750 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08901. These forms must be completed, signed and returned to the ticket agents as soon as possible. Two recent passport size color photos must be returned with the completed enrollment forms. Please read the "Terms and Conditions" on the reverse side of the enrollment form before signing it.
  3. Commuters who return properly completed enrollment forms will be issued a Coach USA Travel Club identification card.
  4. In order to purchase a monthly Saver Fare pass, a commuter must present his/her Coach USA Travel Club identification card to the Suburban ticket agent. The Saver Fare passes may be purchased at any time during the month and are valid up to, but not including, the same date the following month. Because the monthly passes are issued on a rolling month instead of a calendar month, commuters can strategically time their purchases to avoid paying for service during vacations, leaves of absence, etc.
  5. Suburban will provide each monthly Saver Fare pass user with a bifold display case for both their identification card and monthly pass. This case must be shown to the driver each time you board a bus. The driver must verify that the pass is valid and that the commuter presenting the pass was the purchaser. There is no limit to the number of times the purchaser may use the pass throughout the month.
  6. Beginning on December 6th Suburban has offered service along the Route 27 corridor from Princeton to Franklin Park and along the Route 1 corridor to Neilson Parking Plaza and then on to Jersey City. Ten trip commutation ticket and monthly Saver Fare passes will also be available to Jersey City. New Brunswick passengers can transfer to the Jersey City service at Neilson Parking Plaza.
